Most well-known in Bollywood for re-making his own Tamil blockbuster Ghajini, Murugadoss has had a very productive 2014. During the year, he wrote Bengali film Game and directed Hindi movie Holiday, both remakes of Tamil action thriller Thupakki. The man with the Midas touch also wrote and produced a Tamil fantasy movie Maan Karate, which turned out to be a blockbuster. But his biggest success by far was Kaththi, which became the highest grossing Tamil film of the year.
