Hima Das became the first Indian to win a gold at an international track event when she won the 400-meter race at the World Under-20 Athletics Championships in Finland, in 2018.

Smriti Mandhana was Player of the Match in two matches at the World Cup. Her eyes are now on the 2021 World Cup.

Neeraj Chopra is only the second athlete after Milkha Singh to win both the Commonwealth and Asiad golds. The track and field athlete is now training to be a part of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
