About the Event

Digital traffic processing has increased considerably over the last few years with an increased need for speed and performance. The online shift occurred quickly but few were able to harness technology in an optimal manner. The explosion in cloud adoption, fuelled by IoT and the impending arrival of 5G, is expected to further drive the growing shift towards distributed edge computing. We may even expect to see containerised data centres fitted out into standard shipping containers! There has never been more exciting times than now for CIOs/CTOs to improve the agility quotient in their data centres, and thereby creating better CX/EX.

Today, the dynamics for IT have changed – it is not just a business enabler but a key player that provides a huge competitive edge, prompting companies to be more responsive in dealing with the growth of their IT infrastructure. CIOs must not only think of technology, but also in terms of consumer behaviour and consumer access points to see how one can adapt and modify their data centre infrastructure to deal with the changing marketplace. In order to build agile data centres that are efficient under dynamic and evolving workloads, it should be possible for the infrastructure to support more loading, greater use of customers (sign-ups, etc.), optimistic performance, maintenance, catering to and better serving various businesses in the long term. Data Centres can create better agility by being more technologically adaptable, scalable and efficient. With the increase in consumer’s requirements, the time to upgrade the infrastructure backbone of DCs is now!
