High rollers
Want to keep calm and carry on? Start with first-class rolling luggage. A 22-inch trolley, which can be stowed overhead on most domestic and international flights, is what you need. Next, four wheels (preferably multidirectional) are better than two, as are several handle options, including the top, the side and a sturdy telescopic handle for pushing and pulling. A suitcase with “sandwich” construction (meaning two halves) makes organising easier, as do internal and external pockets. If you can pack all of that thinking into one bag, there ought to be enough room for a two-day business trip. And now you’re ready to roll.

Tech the halls
A sensorial satori occurs when high tech meets high design. Whether it’s a Brancusi-like speaker, a platterless turntable or a state-of-the-artfulness integrated amplifier, form and function are united on a new plane, wrapping inspiration around innovation.

Small wonders
When it comes to handbags, little is now a big sign of power. Mini- and micro-bags have replaced oversize satchels and totes, conveying that a woman has everything under control. From Chanel’s Mini Flap to Fendi’s Micro Peekaboo, these little beauties are meant to hold just the essentials—a phone, some credit cards, keys—but they still make a huge style statement
