An evening with India's superwomen

Being a successful women entrepreneur requires skill, determination as well as patience. It’s a long and rocky road where the odds are often stacked against them. Once there, sharing your insights on the journey is important. And, of course, celebrating and showcasing that journey is equally important.

Join Forbes India for a glittering evening as it brings together India’s well known women entrepreneurs, chief executives and artists to salute their achievements and the road they took to get there. The W-Power Trailblazers evening held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai features well known personalities Chanda Kocchar, Zia Mody and Naina Lal Kidwai in discussion with Dilip Piramal and Ronnie Screwvala.

The panel will weigh in the need for gender parity in India whether in the workplace or at homes. As 27 percent of women make up India’s workforce it becomes important to treat them fairly and as equals. What are some of the steps the country needs to take to achieve this? Is this something that should be mandated at all? And how have other countries at a similar stage of development managed to achieve this?

Rounding off the evening will be a panel discussion on how women juggle their myraid responsibilities and obligations. It features Revathi Roy, Ameera Shah, Samina Vaziralli, Sairee Chahal, Dr. Mariazeena Johnson and Suchi Mukherjee all pioneers in their respective fields.
