Originally discovered by the late TV personality and comedian Jaspal Bhatti, Sunil Grover (40) started his career with the lead role in SAB TV’s Gutur Gu in 2010. He achieved fame after playing the characters Ghutti, Rinku Bhabhi and Dr Mashoor Gulati in Comedy Nights with Kapil and the Kapil Sharma Show. Earlier this year, Grover and Sharma got into an altercation on a Melbourne-Delhi flight while the crew was returning from Australia. After the incident, Grover left Comedy with Kapil and has been ambivalent about working with Sharma again. Grover has tied up with colleagues Kiku Sharda and Ali Asgar to launch a new show.
