A popular voice and face on Indian TV, Shaan turned dancer on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He is now working on his acting debut in a movie (Balwinder Singh Famous Hogaya) directed by Sunil Agnihotri that also stars fellow singer Mika Singh. On the singing front though, Shaan continues to face stiff competition from a string of newcomers.
