Afroz Shah, a Mumbai-based lawyer-turned-activist, uses social media as a powerful tool to raise awareness about the importance of minimising and repurposing plastic waste. He actively advocates for behavioural change, encourages a zero-tolerance approach to littering, and effectively mobilises volunteers to support his cause. In recognition of his remarkable efforts, Shah was honoured with 'The Champions of the Earth' award by the United Nations in 2016.
