Fast-rising property baron's Embassy Property Development, Bangalore's biggest developer of office parks with partners such as private equity firm Blackstone, has moved into building industrial parks and warehousing spaces in a $250 million joint venture with American private equity firm Warburg Pincus. Embassy's newest project in its home city is Embassy Springs, a 300-acre township near Bangalore airport. Next up is probably a REIT listing of Embassy's office assets. Son Karan, who works with him, is overseeing a new venture in shared office spaces.
