Worldwide, there are 56 billionaires younger than 40, and 30 of them are self-made, down from 36 last year. As a group they are doing fabulously: While some fortunes stayed stable, not a single one of the under-40s on this year’s list saw his or her wealth decline in the past 12 months. The group’s aggregate net worth: $138.7 billion.
