Lions International presents News18 SheShakti 2025 has already set new benchmarks with its back-to-back editions in Mumbai and Delhi. In just three years, SheShakti has grown from inception into a platform that consistently creates impact, amplifying women’s voices and influence across the country. What began as a stage for sharing journeys has now evolved into a movement shaping the national discourse on women’s leadership across policy, business, technology, sports, law, and the arts.

Building on this vision, SheShakti went regional for the very first time with its Mumbai Edition, capturing the city’s cultural energy while honouring leaders such as Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra; Ashwini Bhide, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra; Neerja Birla, Founder and Chairperson of Aditya Birla Education Trust; Aditi Tatkare, Minister for Women and Child Development of Maharashtra; H.E. Ambassador Chavanart Thangsumphant, Thailand Ambassador to India; Mateja Vodeb Ghosh, Slovenian Ambassador to India; and actors Renuka Shahane, Nimrat Kaur, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Their presence, alongside changemakers in grassroots entrepreneurship and advanced technology, underlined a powerful truth: empowerment is strongest when seeded locally and scaled globally.

Carrying this momentum forward, the Delhi Edition elevated the dialogue with voices including Smt. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India; Smriti Irani, Former Cabinet Minister & Founder, The Alliance for Global Good; Lindy Cameron, British High Commissioner to India; Professor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, Vice-Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University; Justice Hima Kohli, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman & MD, Tractors and Farm Equipment; Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam, Multi-Platinum Playback Singer; Actor & Entrepreneur Kriti Sanon and Sanya Malhotra; and Dr. Geetha Manjunath, Founder, CEO & CTO, NIRAMAI Health Analytix. Their insights across law, academia, policy, AI, governance, and entertainment showed that women today are not only breaking barriers but defining the future of Bharat.

Across both editions, the threads were unmistakable: resilience, innovation, and collaboration. Speakers pressed for stronger mentorship networks, innovation hubs, and measurable goals to accelerate progress.
