Law Schools
Law Schools are pivotal institutions that nurture the country’s subsequent generations of lawyers and thus shape the future of the legal profession. This Event category recognizes the Law Schools that are most efficaciously training students to be zealous lawyers and outstanding professionals.
Eligibility
- The nominations are open to all Law Schools registered under Indian Laws and recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Only Law Universities and Deemed University colleges are eligible to apply.
- For the special category of nominees with less than 10 years’ experience, the date of incorporation of the Law School should be less than 10 years ago as on 31st October, 2020.
Assessment Criteria
Submissions will be judged on the basis of responses to the following questions along with the supporting and additional material. Kindly answer each question in 500 words max:
- How does the teaching methodology practiced by your institute instill knowledge, skills and analytical thinking in students to prepare them for the challenges of the future?
- Elaborate on your investment in technology, especially for the benefit of undergraduate students, to avail resources of the 21st century.
- Provide details of your financial resources and their utilisation during the period 1st April, 2019 to 30th September, 2020.
Mandatory Information
Kindly provide the following details to enhance your submission:
- Upload a high-resolution institute logo.
- Name of the Law School.
- The year in which the institute was established.
- Details of the Law School registration.
- List the degree and certificate courses offered.
- The faculty-student ratio (with emphasis on permanent faculty).
- Number of faculty members with a PhD (or equivalent).
- The Median experience of faculty members, and the Median salary paid to them.
- The student strength including Doctoral students.
- Percentage of women students, and percentage of students from economically and socially weak groups.
- Name of the Vice Chancellor/Director with contact details( Email/Phone Number).

You could provide the following supporting documents:
- References, testimonials
- Media coverage, statistics and data reports and/or financial or business metrics to support your nomination.
- Submit an optional short video, up to 30 seconds long, in which you talk about “What Featuring in the Top List of Forbes means to me.”
