Tech
Carry thy light
The 2010 earthquake in Haiti inspired product designers Alice Min Soo Chun and Stacy Kelly (co-founders of New York-based Solight Design) to invent the Solarpuff—a foldable lantern inspired by origami. It is designed with PET fabric that is engineered for durability, flexibility and water resistance. The product can fully charge in eight hours and facilitate eight to 12 hours of light. The lantern weighs just 65 grams.
Style
