Between writing books, Amish Tripathi leads a quiet life, researching history, mythology and the scriptures to fuel his next work. He does attend speaking engagements, but tries to keep them limited, preferring to spend time with his family. 2015 saw the release of the first book in a new series based on the Ramayana, Scion of Ishvaku, which, predictably, went straight to the top of the best-seller charts.
Fast Fact: Amish's wife, Preeti Vyas, works in publishing, and is the founder and 'chief fun officer' of a children's book imprint, FunOKPlease.
