This winter she filed for divorce, and in May Rahr was forced to pay her a reported $250 million settlement. Now worth $1.3 billion, Rahr, it seems, will hang on to his spot on the Forbes 400 (barely). Here are other divorcés who weren’t so lucky. Roy DisneySettlement: $600 millionIn 2007, at the age of 77, Disney (Walt’s nephew) divorced his 72-year-old wife, Patricia, citing irreconcilable differences after 52 years of marriage.

Joseph CraftSettlement: $500 millionCraft, CEO of Coal Titan Alliance Resource Partners, divorced his wife, Kathy, in 2011. He gave her half his alliance stake, but he retains voting rights for all shares. Jefrey LurieSettlement: $60 millionThe Philadelphia Eagles owner fell off the Forbes 400 list in 2012 after divorcing wife Christina, who was given a minority ownership share of the team.
