

Supermodels are still earning less than they were before the recession, and their Victoria’s Secret deals, known for launching their careers, have gotten smaller. In response, the top earners are now globalising. “These girls understand that they can leverage their personalities and beauty into something more,” says Ed Razek, president of Limited Brands, Victoria’s Secret’s parent company. “It’s a smart business model.” And the brands they choose often have nothing to do with fashion: Bündchen earns millions from Sky HDTV and Oral-B, while Kerr has deals with Lipton tea and Bold detergent.
