India leads in vulnerable employment with 74% of its workforce in insecure jobs, the highest among G20 nations, according to the Future of Jobs Report 2025. The data, which includes own-account and contributing family workers, highlights a major global challenge. By contrast, the US sits at just 4%, Germany at 5%, Japan at 8% and China at 42%.
