Emirates bags top honours in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice award'

No Indian airline makes it to the top ten best airlines in the world; Jet Airways named “Best Airline - India”

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, on Tuesday, announced the winners of its first annual Travellers’ Choice awards for airlines. Dubai-based Emirates was named the top airline in the world, followed by Singapore’s flag carrier Singapore Airlines and Azul, from Brazil. While Jet Airways won the ‘Best Airline in India’, domestic market leader IndiGo won top honours in the ‘Low Cost Airlines – Asia Pacific’ category. The winners were based on airline reviews submitted on TripAdvisor Flights from February 2016 to February 2017.
