Next up was the Rajinikanth-starrer Kochadaiiyaan, the soundtrack of which released in three languages and required Rahman to bring in 150 orchestras for the recording. The soundtrack of the Helen Mirren-starrer The Hundred-Foot Journey was scored by him as well.
