After an explosive start to his international career, Virat Kohli's form had to dip at some point. The tour of England in the summer of 2014 proved to be that nadir. The first big test of the year for him was the series in South Africa, which he passed with flying colours, scoring three hundreds. However, after that, he struggled more than most Indian batsmen in swinging English conditions, averaging just 13.4 runs per dismissal. But his fitness, as usual, has been above par: He played 25 ODIs, 11 Tests and eight T20 Internationals in our time period, more than any other cricketer.
