Beginning December 6 at Sunaparanta, Goa Centre for the Arts (patronised by Dattaraj V Salgaocar), is an exhibition that highlights photography at the intersection of literature, music and cinema. Sensorium picks a selection of international photographers to discover, or rediscover, moments and memories from films, books and jazz, as captured through their lenses.

Photographer Farrokh Chothia’s work on jazz is as much a document of music as they are of time, place and artistry. Commenting on Chothia’s work, Salman Rushdie said: “Don’t look at these pictures in silence. They ask for music to be played.”
