Mahindra & Mahindra sold 50,946 Utility Vehicles in the domestic market, a growth of 23%.

Its overall auto sales for December 2025 stood at 86,090 vehicles, a growth of 25% including exports.

Domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 24,786, a growth of 34%.

“The calendar year 2025 ended on a positive note, with Mahindra clocking its highest-ever volumes in both SUVs and LCVs (<3.5T) segments, a significant milestone for the company. In December, we achieved SUV sales of 50,946 units, a growth of 23% and LCV< 3.5T sales of 24,786 units, a growth of 34%. The total vehicle sales stand at 86,090 units, a 25% year-on-year growth,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.

Kia sees best December with 105% surge in sales

Kia recorded its best-ever December since inception. At 18,659 units, sales grew 105% YoY compared to 8,957 units in December 2024, driven by improving consumer sentiments.

Kia Sonet crosses 100,000-unit sales milestone for the second consecutive year.

Supported by favourable macroeconomic conditions and government policies, including a consumer-friendly GST framework, these initiatives reinforced positive consumer sentiment.”

He added, “Looking ahead to 2026, Kia India remains focused on delivering value-led offerings and strengthening the brand ownership experience across its product portfolio to drive steady, sustainable growth in a dynamic market environment.”
