According to the National Cancer Registry Programme of the India Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 1300 Indians die every day due to cancer. Majority of them from tobacco related head/neck/oral cancers and cervical cancers in women. Most of the patients are from economically poor families.
As of today, Omega Hospitals, headquartered in Hyderabad, serves 400 patients every day.
Dr. Sridhar Peddireddy is the founder CEO of Omega Hospitals, which was established in the year 2010 with 250+ beds specialized in Cancer treatments (Oncology services).
He is a very generous man and Sri Dharani Foundation is an example of his Generosity. The foundation is intended to serve people in the areas of Education, Health & Green Living. It’s a platform for like-minded people like him who wanted to something for the society.
Dr. P Sridhar holds a doctorate in health care. He has done his Master’s Degree in Hospital Management and various other certification courses from reputed international universities like Wharton Business School, Harvard University and IIM.
RENOVA Hospitals is another example of his vision and Humanity. It is his dream to facilitate Quality Health Care Services at Affordable Cost for people living in periphery areas of cities. It is now based in Hyderabad and flourishing under his leadership. He feels that healthcare in India is well established in major cities and in major cities the hospitals are mostly located in posh and business rich areas only. He felt overwhelmed seeing the people living in rural areas and periphery areas of cities facing a lot of difficulties to get Quality & Timely Treatment. “Of course, hospitals are available in rural areas and peripheries of cities, but they are more like nursing homes with quality nowhere comparable to Corporate hospitals” he Adds.
Dr. P Sridhar always ambitious of providing quality healthcare facilities more accessible to the rural people and people living in the older/peripheral part of cities. He wanted to give life to his vision and established RENOVA Hospitals in collaboration with a few other like-minded doctor friends in the year 2019.
Dr. P Sridhar says that RENOVA is like a neighbourhood hospital serving people living in 10 to 15 km vicinity. It is equipped with state of the art technology and infrastructure compared to any big corporate hospital. His aim is to conquer the heart of people providing access to best and quality healthcare facilities to every individual irrespective of their status. Right now RENOVA is adding 5 more branches and spreading its wings to various small towns and cities of India.
Dr. P Sridhar has already proved his mettle by leading and transforming Omega Hospitals to the second-largest Oncology Chain in India. No doubt under the able leadership of Dr. P Sridhar, RENOVA Hospitals dream doesn’t seem to be difficult.
Apart from the hospital and its patients, Sridhar’s loves to spend time with his beautiful daughters Sri Hansika & Sri Nivriti.
