Shell India has released its new brand film, ‘Shell Chale Ban Ke Saathi’, marking a milestone moment as the company approaches 100 years of presence in India. The campaign is more than a celebration; it is a reaffirmation of Shell’s philosophy of Powering Progress Together and its pledge to remain a catalyst in India’s evolving energy landscape.

From its inception in 1928 as Burmah Shell, the company has been intertwined with the nation’s development story. Over the decades, Shell has contributed to historic firsts — from fuelling India’s first aircraft to building pioneering refining capabilities — while steadily expanding its role as an integrated energy player. The new film reflects this journey of trust and innovation, spotlighting the people, partnerships, and communities that have been central to Shell’s nearly century-long relationship with India.

The film also sets its gaze forward, echoing Shell’s ambition to support India’s transition towards a lower-carbon future. It highlights the balance between delivering today’s essential energy needs and investing in systems that can power tomorrow’s sustainable growth.

Reflecting on the launch, Mansi Madan Tripathy, Chairperson of Shell India and Senior Vice President of Shell Lubricants Asia Pacific, said:
“For close to a hundred years, Shell has stood shoulder to shoulder with India on its energy journey — from powering the country’s first flight to commissioning its first refinery. This film is not just a tribute to our past but also to our shared vision of progress built on trust, innovation, and collaboration. As India advances, Shell is committed to ensuring it has the energy it requires today while helping to shape the systems that will define the future..”
