Prabhas: Brute box office strength

For the Telugu star, 2017 has been a terrific year. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), had a record-breaking domestic box office collection, earning over ₹500 crore from its Hindi version alone. The epic fantasy drama, originally made in Telugu and Tamil, was dubbed in multiple Indian and foreign languages and went on to earn an estimated ₹1,700 crore worldwide. Prabhas (38), who debuted on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 List in 2015, is said to have been offered several brand endorsements worth ₹18 crore during the filming of Baahubali 2 but rejected them as he wanted to focus on the film. In the past, he has endorsed sports utility vehicle Mahindra XUV 500.
