Dr. Lakshmi Narasimhan Balaji, MBBS, DNB, PhD, is an international development and global health expert in health systems and primary health care. He led the UNICEF delegation to G20 Health Working Group meetings for three successive years, from 2021 to 2023. He has served UNICEF in India, Afghanistan, Eastern and Southern Africa and at the Headquarters in various capacities.
