Azad Moopen

Dubai-based doctor is expanding his Aster DM Healthcare back home with Aster Medcity, a new 575-bed hospital that opened in April in his native Kerala state. The former medical professor migrated to Dubai in 1987 and set up a clinic. Built it into a health care empire, which today has 1,400 doctors treating 10 million patients annually. Moopen is planning to take Aster public.
