Business partners and childhood pals who cofounded the $1.3 billion (revenues) consumer goods firm Emami, in which they hold a combined 73% stake, return to the ranks after a year's gap helped by a 70% jump in Emami's shares in the past year. In June Emami bought Kesh King, maker of ayurvedic hair products, for $265 million. The duo set up a family advisory board this year to chart a succession plan. Goenka's 2 sons and a nephew, along with Agarwal's 3 children, work in the group.
