According to a recent PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) report, the total market capitalisation of the world’s 100 most valuable companies increased by 15 percent from a year ago to $20 trillion as on March 31, 2018. With a $278 billion increase, Amazon is the biggest gainer followed by Tencent (up by $224 billion) and Alibaba (up by $201 billion). The Chinese firms are also the new entrants in the top 10 most valuable companies.

Apple, which saw an increase of $98 billion in its market cap, remains the most valuable public company. No Indian firm made it to the list.g_107479_worlds_larget_companies_280x210.jpg
