At a launch event late on Tuesday, Apple unveiled a range of devices that push the boundaries of design, performance, and health tech. With a focus on design, it introduced the iPhone 17 series with smoother displays and smarter cameras, while its thinnest phone ever, the iPhone Air, redefines phone design with a titanium-aluminium shell. On the wearable front, Apple Watch Series 11 and Ultra 3 were introduced with groundbreaking health insights and satellite connectivity, and the SE 3 with premium features at a budget-friendly price. Complementing the lineup, AirPods Pro 3 was introduced with enhanced audio, heart rate tracking and real-time translation. With prices ranging from ₹25,900 to ₹1,59,900, Apple’s latest offerings cater to a wide spectrum of users, blending luxury with utility. Pre-orders for most of the products begin on September 12, and they will be available from September 19.

iPhone 17
Apple’s iPhone 17 brings meaningful upgrades to its standard lineup, featuring a larger 6.3-inch ProMotion display with 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The design is more durable with Ceramic Shield 2 and a matte back finish. Powered by the new A19 chip, it offers faster performance and improved battery life (50 percent charge in 20 minutes), with up to eight extra hours of video playback. The dual 48MP rear camera system and an 18MP Center Stage front camera enhance photography and video capabilities. Starting at $799 (approx. ₹82,900), the iPhone 17 is available in multiple colours and storage options.

iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are Apple’s most durable iPhones yet, redefining its flagship design experience with a new aerospace-grade aluminium unibody and a vapour chamber for superior thermal performance. Both models feature the A19 Pro chip, enabling next-level gaming, AI tasks, and pro-grade video editing. The camera system includes three 48MP Fusion lenses and an 18MP Center Stage front camera, offering up to 8x optical zoom. The Super Retina XDR displays (6.3" and 6.9") boast Ceramic Shield 2 on both front and back, with 3x better scratch resistance. Prices start at $1,099 (approx. ₹1,09,900) for the Pro and $1,199 (approx. ₹1,19,900) for the Pro Max. The event that aired in California and on Apple’s website and YouTube channel was filed using the iPhone 17 Pro.

iPhone Air
Apple’s new iPhone Air is its thinnest iPhone yet at just 5.6mm. It features a 6.5-inch display with ProMotion and Ceramic Shield 2 on both sides for enhanced durability. Powered by the A19 Pro chip and the new N1 and C1X modems, it supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6, and faster networking. The camera setup includes a 48MP rear Fusion lens and an 18MP Center Stage front camera. With up to 27 hours of video playback and fast charging, the iPhone Air starts at $999 (approx. ₹1,19,900) for 256GB, going up to ₹1,59,900 for 1TB.

AirPods Pro 3
The AirPods Pro 3 elevates the audio experience with 4x stronger Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), heart rate sensing during workouts, and Live Translation powered by Apple Intelligence. They offer up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC. Redesigned for comfort, they come with five ear tip sizes and an IP57 rating for dust, sweat, and water resistance. Priced at $249 (approx. ₹25,900), they are available for pre-order now and hit stores on September 19.

Apple Watch Ultra 3
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is built for adventurers, featuring satellite connectivity, the largest display screen in an Apple watch, and a rugged titanium case. It supports 5G, hypertension detection, and sleep score analysis, with a new Waypoint watch face for navigation. Battery life reaches 42 hours in regular use and 72 hours in Low Power Mode. Priced at $799 (approx. ₹89,900), it is available in natural and black titanium finishes, with pre-orders open and sales starting September 19.

Apple Watch SE 3
The Apple Watch SE 3 brings advanced health features, including sleep score, ovulation estimates, and sleep apnea notifications. It now has an Always-On display, fast charging, and 5G connectivity, powered by the S10 chip. The watch also supports new gestures like double tap and wrist flick, and includes Workout Buddy for personalised fitness motivation. Starting at $249 (approx. ₹25,900), it is available for pre-order now and launches on September 19.

Apple Watch Series 11
Apple Watch Series 11 introduces a brighter 3,000-nit display, 5G connectivity, and up to 24 hours of battery life. It’s the first smartwatch to offer hypertension alerts and includes features like Workout Buddy, Liquid Glass UI, and live translation. Its display glass is twice as scratch-resistant, and the watch supports intuitive gestures for easier interaction. Priced at $399 (approx. ₹46,900), it is available for pre-order and will be in stores from September 19.
