Consumables
At the Frankfurt Auto Show last week, Indian electric car company Reva unveiled the NXR and NXG, third generation lime-green battery-powered cars designed by Dilip Chhabria. Reva stayed conventional with a hatchback design for the NXR, but at least they figured out how to produce a green car with leg room. Our vote is for the NXG, a modish two-seater which can hit 130 kph and has a unique built-in technology called REVive. (We tried to get more information on this but the Reva folks didn’t pick up the phone.) You can register for an NXG online. The car doesn’t go into production until 2011 but we hear customers are already flooding the portal.
