Nurse Joy Kersey gives a COVID-19 vaccine to Dr. Usman Shah at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Shah was the first to receive the BioNTech vaccine that was administered to front-line nurses and doctors. The hospital received 1,950 doses in its first shipment.
