Hollywood and all the other insert-letter-here ollywoods aren’t the only popular films around. Dosumentaries, as folks like Al Gore and Michael Moore have shown, can educate, entertain, and prompt genuine change, and the best documentary film makers have loyal followings.

Unfortunately, we in India don’t get to see too many of the world’s best documentaries (nature films being the honourable exception), except at the odd film festival. This site can remedy that.

There are over 150 films available for free viewing, streamed in from various hosting sites, from every corner of the world.

The documentaries hosted here cover topics including activism, the environment, politics, nature, religion, war, health, human rights, religion, women-focussed issues and others.

You’ll find Michael Moore’s controversial movies there (not Gore’s, alas), and even one based on the words of Arundhati Roy.
