Euromonitor International has released its Top City Destinations Ranking, which selects the top 100 cities in the world based in terms of international tourist arrivals in 2015

Rank 8: Istanbul (Turkey)Always a popular tourist destination, the Turkish city of Istanbul saw a 4.8 percent rise in international travelers visiting the city. More than 12.41 million people visited Istanbul, which has magnificent attractions such as the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Blue Mosque, to name a few.
