Aamir Khan had just one movie in the time period under consideration, Dhoom 3, but it was a blockbuster hit. The third installment of the popular Dhoom franchise-the first Bollywood movie to be released in the Imax motion picture film format-is the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time, domestic and overseas, with a worldwide gross collection of Rs 542 crore ($88 million). Unlike other stars, Khan continues to be very selective about his endorsements. Though his latest movie PK is set to release later this year, he has not shot for any new film in 2014, as he was busy with the third season of his TV show Satyamev Jayate.
Fast Fact: Hollywood actor-turned-politician Arnold Schwarzenegger complimented Aamir on his biceps at a chance meeting in Delhi, after Khan told Arnie that he had been inspired by his popular book The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding.
