Profile
A versatile Kashyap dabbles in almost all the spheres of filmmaking. After directing one of the four stories of Bombay Talkies in 2013, he helmed Yudh, an ambitious TV series starring Amitabh Bachchan. In the last two years, Kashyap's Phantom Films has co-produced Lootera, Shorts, Hasee Toh Phasee and Queen-all successful films. In 2014, he wrote the dialogue for the Karan Johar-produced Hasee Toh Phasee, and did cameos in Bhoothnath Returns and Happy New Year.
Fast Fact: He is a board member of Aangan Trust, a Mumbai-based NGO which helps protect vulnerable children.
