Royal Challengers Bangalore spent Rs 14 crore on Yuvraj Singh, making him the most expensive player at the 2014 IPL auction. He has proved somewhat worthy of his price tag, finishing as the team's second-highest run scorer. At the international level though, it's been another tough year for Singh, one of ODI's finest players. In 11 matches, he made just 118 runs and took only two wickets. His T20 form was better as he helped India reach the final of the World T20 in Bangladesh.
