Central Park: Pioneering approach to luxury projects
Spearheaded by founder, chairman and managing director Amarjit Bakshi, the company strives to create developments that are not only luxurious but also environmentally conscious

Central Park is spearheaded by its founder, chairman and managing director Amarjit Bakshi. A first-generation entrepreneur and an alumnus of IIT-Delhi, Bakshi has been the driving force behind the company’s growth, which is part of the larger Delhi-based conglomerate, the Bakshi Group. His leadership, which also includes his role at Continental Engines, a global leader in automotive components, is defined by a belief in value creation over mere monetary gains. The group’s diversification into real estate, hospitality, automotive, infrastructure and education underscores a strategic vision that has positioned it as a notable force in North India’s industrial sector.
The company’s success is attributed to its pioneering approach to luxury projects, particularly in the National Capital Region (NCR). Their maiden project, Central Park I, a luxury condominium in Gurugram, sold out shortly after its launch in 2001. This laid the foundation for their signature concept-based living, which they further refined with their flagship project, Central Park Resorts. Spread over 47.5 acres in Sector 48, Gurugram, this project is a testament to their commitment to offering a lifestyle that blends opulent homes with world-class hospitality services and extensive green spaces. It features a range of luxury apartments, villas and penthouses, including the Bellavista and Belgravia Residences, Sky Villas, and Beau Villas, each designed to provide a ‘7-star’ experience. The project’s success is evident in the accolades it has received, including the ‘Best Residential Project in NCR under the Luxury Segment’ at the CNBC Awaaz Real Estate Awards in 2014.

Central Park’s commitment to sustainability is woven into its projects, integrating practices like rainwater harvesting, solar power solutions and efficient waste management systems to reduce their ecological footprint. They strive to create future-ready developments that are not only luxurious but also environmentally conscious. The CSR initiatives are channelled through the Central Park Foundation—dedicated to empowering marginalised communities, with a particular focus on the girl child. They have established institutions like the Jagriti Sewa Trust and supported the Bhai Joga Singh school to provide free primary education. Stable Homes, a social project partnered with by Central Park, is dedicated to rehoming retired racehorses, offering them a sanctuary at their Flower Valley property. This holistic approach to business, combining an eye for luxury and customer satisfaction with a strong sense of social and environmental responsibility, solidifies Central Park’s position as a real estate developer of repute.
