Covid-19 safety protocols: Inside Amazon Inc's warehouse and delivery channels
A look at how standard operating procedures have changed at the ecommerce behemoth's sites and through its supply chain in the wake of the pandemic, in photos

In the new normal, employees are frequently reminded to wash their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing their nose, coughing or sneezing
Shift start times and break times have been staggered, and tables in the break room area spread out
Social distancing while loading & unloading goods: Only one person is allowed to load/ unload products at a time and the arrival time of drivers and delivery associates have been staggered to avoid crowding on site
All delivery associates are meant to regularly sanitise their hands, clean frequently touched surfaces of their vehicles and mandated to wear a face covering at all times while making a delivery
Associates now practice contactless deliveries and place the order at the customer"s doorstep to avoid any physical contact
