Starting out in father's construction business as a teenager, Jitendra Virwani went on to set up his own Dynasty Developers in 1993 with $50,000 borrowed from friends. Eventually renamed Embassy Property Developments, the Embassy brand sits atop many of Bangalore's sprawling business parks, housing firms like IBM, Microsoft and Target. Currently, Blackstone, Embassy and HDFC Bank's property fund have a third each in a business park in Bangalore. He's now building a business park in Serbia. Virwani owns the elite Stonehill International School, in the suburbs of Bangalore and also funds a state-run school for poor kids, now renamed as Stonehill Government Primary School
