Family gets wealth from 25.53% stake in generics maker Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, founded by K. Anji Reddy, who died in March from cancer. Late patriarch long ago handed over charge of running company to son-in-law G.V. Prasad, now chairman, and son Satish, vice chairman; both are also the main inheritors of his pharma fortune. The company's shares have gained nearly 50% in past year as it secured drug approvals in the U.S. and grew in India and Russia. Prasad is keen on photography and bird-watching.
