They are awaiting court approval to restart development at their jointly owned township in suburban Mumbai. The London-listed Hirco, which he used to chair, sued him and daughter Priya for fraud over its investments in two other townships. Niranjan, who called it a contrived litigation, has recently bought both those assets at their written down value.
