Imagine yourself on the golf course. Take out your favorite club, tee up and address the ball. Gracefully make your backswing and solidly strike the ball. Focus on the feel of the grip of the club, as if the club is an extension of your arm. Finish with a nice follow through and hear the crowd clap as they admire your shot.

Imagery helps, I have a fast back swing, which results sometimes in shots going wayward when I am under pressure to perform. I have devised a system for slowing my golf swing by imagining Ernie Els swing, which is a easy, controlled almost lazy back swing, but very effective. On crucial shots I tell my self imagine Ernie Els swing, it works. Atul Chug
