As part of a branding initiative, Oberoi Hotels now has a new brand identity where is now focusing on its guest experience. It has now been renamed to “Oberoi Sun”, which according to the Oberoi Group means the warmth, energy and sense of well-being of its guest experience. The focus on the guest experience is something that the group has had its focus on since the first hotel was set up in the 1930s, according to Mr. P.R.S. Oberoi, Executive Chairman, The Oberoi Group.
Oberoi adds, “For all of us at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, our guests come above everything else. This has been the foundation of our existence for over 85 years and holds as true in our hearts and minds today as it did when the first Oberoi hotel was established by my father Rai Bahadur M.S. Oberoi.”
As part of the branding strategy, the group will now be using “Heart.Felt” as its tagline. And the tagline is apt, especially since it reflects the group’s efforts for guest experience. “In the research that we carried out, we learnt that it is the warmth, kindness and sincerity in the way we take care of the needs of our guests, that awards us their trust and loyalty,” says Mr. Vikram Oberoi, Managing Director and CEO, The Oberoi Group. The Oberoi group currently operates 22 hotels and resorts across six countries. In 2019, The Oberoi Marrakech, a resort is all set to open in Morocco.
