Politician, who ranks among country's biggest property developers, recently outlined succession plan at his privately held Lodha Group empire by naming older son Abhishek as head of real estate and giving son Abhinandan charge of a new financial services business. To drum up sales in a weak market, Lodha held an IPO-style road show for its upcoming project in suburban Mumbai that drew 2,500 potential buyers. It is building luxury apartments in London under the Lodha Luxury Collection brand and has set up hospitality services firm St. Amand.
