Former pharma salesman's wealth got boost when private equity firm ChrysCapital sold its 11% stake in his Mankind Pharma for $200 million in May, valuing the generic drug maker at $1.8 billion. With revenues of $525 million, Mankind is among the country's top 10 pharma firms, known for its low-cost medicines and such o-t-c products as Manforce condoms and emergency contraceptive Unwanted 72. He runs company with younger brother Rajeev.
