Motorcycle magnate moves into top 20 on soaring sales at Eicher Motors, maker of the retro Royal Enfield motorbikes. The company sold more than 300,000 bikes in 2014, overtaking Harley-Davidson in number of bikes sold globally. Son Siddhartha, who has been running the company since 2000, is aiming to make Enfield a global brand in the midsize segment. In May he acquired British design firm Harris Performance Products. In June Eicher launched India's first personal utility vehicle, made in a joint venture with U.S.-based Polaris Industries.
