Fortune of pharma clan, which owns a 25% stake in generics maker Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, has jumped by more than a third in past year. Wealth is shared by late founder K. Anji Reddy's son, Satish Reddy, and son-in-law G.V. Prasad. The pharma major, which focuses on gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, diabetes, oncology, pain management and anti-infective drugs, acquired a portfolio of brands from Belgian pharma firm UCB for $129 million in April. In August it inked a research pact with Purdue University, Satish and Prasad's alma mater.
