According to the rumours, I’ve died at least four times in the last year. First story: Moscow killers flew in and shot me to death. Second story: I visited Moscow and was shot to death by Russian mafia. Third story: I was shot in Ukraine. Last year I didn’t even visit Ukraine or Russia! The most recent story: I have died because of cancer. I am doing this well, and they said I got cancer! So as a saying goes, “The dogs bark, but the caravan goes on.”

I do what I like, and there’s no reason that paper money should change that.
If you don’t lie to people and you are honest and clear about how you made your money, you can look people in the eye and explain it to them.
Those bankers you’re talking about, they’re not part of a virtuous cycle. They are pond life. Whatever an entrepreneur is, she or he is not pond life. They have meaning. And without wishing to sound pompous, they are part of what made America great.
It’s not all about the money, it’s about transforming something and what you leave behind.
My mother used to sew flour sacks together to make sheets, so cotton sheets were a real treat. I knew I had to marry a rich girl.
Invention is by its very nature disruptive. If you want to be understood at all times, then don’t do anything new.
