India ranks 25th out of 33 countries in its support for free speech, a survey of 50,000 people done by Danish think tank Justitia and British data analytics firm YouGov found. It further assessed that while 'in principle' support for free speech is high everywhere, it drops significantly, even in India, when confronted with competing values like religion, health, and national security
